Tactical Gear

Tactical gear isn’t just about looks; it’s about functionality under pressure. High-quality tactical gear stands out from budget equipment thanks to materials such as Cordura nylon, reinforced stitching, Mil-Spec webbing, IR-reducing coatings and reliable hardware from brands such as YKK and Duraflex. You’ll notice an immediate difference in comfort, freedom of movement and durability, particularly during intense skirmishes, long-duration milsim events or professional use.

In our tactical gear webshop, we select only equipment that has proven itself in CQB, milsim and outdoor use. Vests that slip, hard-to-reach pouches and condensation are among the most common problems with cheap or poorly designed loadouts. That is why our range consists exclusively of gear that has been tested in realistic conditions for stability, durability and functionality during CQB, woodland and outdoor use.

Suitable for:

  • Airsoft, CQB en milsim loadouts
  • Professional use and training
  • Bushcraft and outdoor activities
  • Shooting training and tactical instruction

How to choose the right tactical gear

Choosing the right tactical gear isn’t about looks or camouflage patterns, but about your playing style, the physical demands of the game and the environment. Many players initially buy gear based on its appearance, but realise during their first long day of play that comfort, weight distribution and accessibility are ultimately far more important.

For fast-paced CQB games, for example, you have completely different requirements than during a 12-hour milsim event. During indoor gameplay, it’s all about speed, freedom of movement and compact setups. Outdoor and milsim scenarios, on the other hand, call for scalability, durability and comfort over longer periods.

Players who opt for a modular setup from the outset often find they need to replace or rebuild their kit less frequently later on. Poorly constructed budget products, in particular, cause problems when extra weight is added, such as radios, loaded magazine pouches or hydration systems.

What should you look out for when buying tactical gear?

  • Material strength: 500D Cordura combines a relatively low weight with high abrasion resistance, whilst 1000D variants offer better resistance to rough surfaces and heavy loads but feel noticeably stiffer and heavier.
  • Fit & stability: A carrier that slips during sprints or when kneeling causes fatigue and hinders quick weapon transitions.
  • Modularity: MOLLE platforms allow you to adapt your setup as your playing style changes. Laser-cut MOLLE systems also save weight and reduce bulk, whilst traditionally stitched webbing often remains more resistant to heavy loads.
  • Ventilation & comfort: During hot weather, breathable fabrics remain considerably more comfortable than non-breathable budget fabrics that trap heat and moisture.

Cheaper polyester vests may seem appealing at first glance, but they often lose their shape when multiple pouches or heavy accessories are added. High-quality carriers retain their shape better, ensuring that weight is distributed more evenly across the shoulders and torso.

Camouflage and signature

Camouflage isn’t just about the pattern; it’s also about how materials react to light and their surroundings. Much budget gear has an unnatural sheen that becomes particularly noticeable in woodland environments. That’s why professional users and experienced players often opt for matt fabrics and IR-reducing coatings.

In Dutch woodland environments, Multicam and PenCott Wildwood remain popular due to their versatility against green and brown vegetation. Ranger Green works extremely well for low-profile loadouts, whilst Coyote remains popular for dry terrain and urban environments.

Many players also underestimate how important colour consistency is within a loadout. Different shades of green or brown can actually make you stand out more rather than providing better camouflage.

Layering and scalability of your setup

A modular tactical setup easily adapts to your playing style, loadout and type of gameplay. Beginners often start with compact chest rigs or lightweight plate carriers combined with modular magazine pouches and comfortable slings for greater freedom of movement during CQB.

In warm conditions, we recommend breathable combat shirts combined with lightweight vests and open pouch configurations. During colder outdoor games, a layering system featuring moisture-wicking base layers and softshells works considerably better than thick winter jackets that restrict freedom of movement.

You will therefore find specialised subcategories in our online shop, such as:

  • Plate Carriers & Tactical Vests for modular loadouts
  • Tactical & Molle Pouches for efficient magazine and utility storage
  • Eye and face protection for safe CQB and outdoor scenarios
  • Airsoft Helmets & Headgear for communication and protection
  • Holster & Sling Systems for quick weapon handling
  • Tactical Communication & Headsets for team coordination during military simulation
  • Training & Dummy Gear for realistic training scenarios

Instap, mid-range of premium Tactical Gear?

Many players are torn between cheap entry-level gear and premium equipment. We usually recommend at least decent mid-range gear if you play regularly.

Quality gradeMaterials & ConstructionStability & ComfortThe best choice for...
Entry levelStandard polyester, standard stitching, budget plastic bucklesBasic weight distribution; may shift or sag under heavier loadsOccasional use, backyard skirmishes and novice airsofters
Mid-RangeHigh-strength nylon (e.g. 600D), reinforced stitching at stress pointsA secure, stable fit; the pouches stay firmly in place during intense runningThe keen airsoft enthusiast looking for the best value for money
Premium LevelGenuine Cordura (500D/1000D), laser-cut MOLLE, Mil-Spec YKK/Duraflex hardwareMaximum ergonomics, perfect weight distribution and optimal ventilation thanks to 3D meshIntense 12+ hour military simulations, CQB competitions and professional training use

Entry-level models are fine for occasional use but often lack stability, comfort and long-term durability. In particular, shoulder strain, poor ventilation and buckles that snap are common issues.

Mid-range gear usually offers the best value for money for active players. Premium systems become particularly worthwhile if you take part in longer milsim events, carry heavy loadouts or require maximum reliability during intense gameplay.

Our selection has been put together based on the practical experience of airsoft players, instructors and outdoor professionals who actually put the gear through its paces.

Plate Carriers & Tactical Vesten

A plate carrier largely determines how comfortable and efficient your entire setup feels. Many CQB players start out unnecessarily weighed down by full-size carriers, whereas compact setups often allow for faster and more comfortable movement in indoor environments. This often leads to overheating, restricted freedom of movement and unnecessary weight during rapid transitions.

For indoor and speedsoft setups, a compact slick carrier is usually more efficient as it adds less bulk and moves more quickly during corners, sprints and weapon changes. During milsim and outdoor gameplay, larger modular carriers offer advantages, as they allow you to carry extra magazines, communication equipment, medical gear and hydration without compromising stability.

Many players combine modular carriers with admin pouches, radio solutions and hydration systems for longer milsim loadouts.

In this category you will find:

  • Slick carriers for fast CQB loadouts
  • Fully modular MOLLE carriers
  • Tactical vests with integrated storage
  • Cummerbund systems for extra stability

When selecting our products, we pay particular attention to weight distribution, adjustability, carrying handles, shoulder comfort and the durability of stress points. You’ll notice the difference between cheap foam padding and high-quality ergonomic shoulder designs immediately, especially when carrying a load for long periods.

Tactical & Molle Pouches

A good pouch configuration not only increases storage capacity but also determines how quickly and efficiently you can act during gameplay. Many players pack their setup too tightly, making magazines difficult to reach or restricting movement whilst sprinting or crouching.

For quick rifle reloads, we recommend open-top magazine pouches, whereas closed-flap systems offer greater protection during outdoor use and when crawling through mud or vegetation.

In this category you will find:

  • Rifle and pistol magazine pouches
  • Medical pouches and IFAK kits
  • Utility en admin pouches
  • Dump pouches and radio solutions

During longer milsim events, a logical pouch layout proves essential for quick reloads and efficient movement patterns. Poorly positioned magazines result in slower reloads and unnecessary fatigue, as movements become unnatural.

Eye & Face Protection

Eye protection is one of the most important parts of any loadout. Yet we still see players opting for cheap mesh goggles or poorly ventilated masks, which cause vision problems during gameplay.

In CQB environments, wide fields of vision and reliable anti-fog performance play a major role in responsiveness and situational awareness. When goggles constantly fog up, this slows reaction times and impairs situational awareness during fast-paced CQB situations. That is why we focus on protection with thermal lenses, good ventilation and compatibility with helmets and communication headsets.

Good eye protection works best when used in combination with compatible helmets, lower face protection and communication headsets.

In this category you will find:

  • ANSI and Mil-Spec certified goggles
  • Mesh and hybrid protection
  • Full-face solutions for CQB
  • Anti-fog systems and accessories

Airsoft Helmen & Headgear

Modern tactical helmets are much more than just protection. They serve as the central platform for communication, camouflage, lighting and accessories such as cameras or IR markers.

With prolonged use, the balance, padding quality and weight distribution really stand out, particularly when additional accessories are fitted to the helmet. You’ll quickly notice the difference between budget and premium systems, especially when communication headsets, lights and other accessories are added.

For quick CQB setups, many players opt for lightweight bump helmets, whilst milsim players are more likely to switch to FAST-style systems due to their expandability and compatibility with headset mounts.

In this category you will find:

  • FAST helmets en bump helmets
  • Boonie hats en tactical caps
  • Helmet covers and camouflage solutions
  • Rail-mounted accessories and mounts

Gun Bags & Cases

A good gun bag not only protects your equipment during transport but also prevents damage to optics, external parts and internal components. When transporting over longer distances, heavily padded rifle bags and hard cases offer significantly better protection for optics and external parts.

Hard cases offer maximum protection against impact and moisture, whilst soft rifle bags remain popular due to their lighter weight and extra storage space for magazines and accessories.

Many players underestimate the strain placed on optics, mounts and communications equipment during transport. Poor protection can lead to zeroing issues, damaged mounting points and unnecessary wear and tear on high-quality tactical gear. Sturdy transport equipment such as padded rifle bags and hard cases helps to better protect these items during transport and storage.

In this category you will find:

  • Padded rifle bags
  • Hard cases with foam lining
  • Compact carry bags
  • Tactical cases with accessory storage

Holsters & Sling Systems

A sling or holster may seem like a minor part of a loadout, but it has a huge impact on comfort and efficiency during gameplay. A poorly adjusted sling restricts freedom of movement and slows down weapon transitions during rapid CQB manoeuvres.

Single-point slings offer plenty of freedom of movement during CQB but can become cumbersome over longer distances. Two-point slings distribute weight more effectively and provide greater stability during outdoor use.

When it comes to holsters, we often find that cheap retention systems fail to hold replicas securely in place whilst sprinting or kneeling. That is why we focus on systems with adjustable retention and stable mounting platforms.

In this category you will find:

  • Single en two-point slings
  • Mid-ride en drop-leg holsters
  • Quick-adjust sling systems
  • Platforms for modular setups

Tactical Communication & Headsets

During milsim and team-based gameplay, communication is often underestimated, even though it offers one of the greatest advantages during tactical movements and objective-based gameplay.

Cheap headsets often sound acceptable in quiet environments but lose clarity in windy conditions, during gunfire or in busy CQB situations. Headsets with active noise cancellation and high-quality microphones remain clearer in windy conditions, during gunfire and in busy CQB environments.

Compatibility between headsets, helmet mounts and rail systems plays a major role in determining the comfort of a complete communication setup.

In this category you will find:

  • Active hearing protection
  • PTT systems
  • Helmet-mounted communicatie
  • Milsim communication solutions

Training & Dummy Gear

Training gear is becoming increasingly popular in airsoft, professional training and scenario-based instruction. Examples include dummy plates, training magazines and inert gear, which provide a realistic challenge without posing any operational risks.

Realistic weight distribution plays a key role during force-on-force training and extended milsim scenarios. A carrier without plates feels completely different to a setup with the correct load.

In this category you will find:

  • Dummy plates
  • Training centres
  • Inert training materials
  • Scenario training gear
