In terms of model, the Aim-O 4x32 Combat Scope Desert is very popular due to its ACOG style appearance and very robust due to its metal casing.

This scope is equipped with a crosshair and works without a battery which means that the crosshair cannot light up. However, the scope does have a 4x magnification factor which makes it ideal for a DMR, for instance.
