Clawgear 6 Inch Light Stick Infrared

The Clawgear 6 Inch Light Stick Infrared work like any other light stick, except that they emit an IR glow instead of a colour in the visible light spectrum.

As a result, they can only be seen using night vision goggles. This is a useful tool for marking trails and locations, as these sticks emit a clear infrared image that is easily seen by all generations of night vision equipment.

Each lightstick is a bendable plastic tube filled with two non-toxic chemical solutions, one held separately in a floating ampoule to prevent activation until needed. To activate, bend the tube and shake. This breaks the ampoule and mixes the chemicals. A bright light is released through chemi-luminescence, a chemical reaction that converts energy into light without heat, flame or sparks. No batteries or bulbs are needed.
