The Helinox Chair One Highback (re) Camping Chair Camo is an updated version of the iconic Chair One, now featuring the innovative (re)Tension Design technology. This high-back version offers extra support for the shoulders and upper back, taking comfort in lightweight camping chairs to a whole new level.

Construction and materials

The Helinox Chair One Highback (re) Camping Chair Camo features the updated (re)Tension Design. A second tension line in the seat distributes the weight evenly across the frame, resulting in noticeably greater comfort and stability.

The frame is made from a proprietary DAC aluminium alloy, which is renowned for its combination of strength and durability. The hubs have been redesigned using reinforced nylon resin for added stability. Furthermore, the aluminium is partly recycled, which contributes to more sustainable production.

The seat is made from bluesign®-certified and recycled 300D polyester, which is resistant to heavy use and the elements. Mesh panels provide ventilation and breathability on hot days.

Usability and comfort

The higher seat height makes it easier to get in and out of the chair than with the standard Chair One. The ergonomic shape and reinforced corners provide extra grip and support. An integrated side pocket keeps small essentials within easy reach.

Thanks to the elastic cord system, the frame clicks together easily, making assembly quick and hassle-free. When packed away, the chair fits into a compact bag measuring approximately 45 x 15 x 11 cm, featuring a zip, daisy chain attachment and a carrying strap.

Weighing approximately 1,157 g (1,277 g including the cover) and with a weight capacity of up to 145 kg, this chair is both lightweight and robust.
