The number of degrees mentioned in the name of a bucking (50 degree, 60 degree etc) indicates the stiffness of the bucking. The higher the number of degrees, the stiffer the rubber. This in turn is related to the weight of the bb. If you play with 0.30gr bb's for example, you better go for a 70 degree bucking than a 60 degree bucking. This does not mean that if you use a 50 degree bucking you cannot play with 0.30gr bb's, but the wear of the bucking is probably higher.
